  26. I have a similar setup (A3000/25, WB3.1, SS3.3, DKB 3128 w/ 24MB (4+4+16),
  27. 8MB motherboard, and I have also had problems w/ PPP & MacTCP.  It seemed
  28. to work once, under SS3.0 or something, but that could also have been
  29. because I had less memory back then- I've tried running & installing PPP &
  30. MacTCP under all the versions of SS I have (2, 3.0, 3.2, 3.3..) , and the
  31. "Open" button is always ghosted like yours.

  33. This is the first time I've heard of a memory location problem w/
  34. MacTCP. I'll try setting the mem lower or something, and see if it helps...

  36. Otherwise, anyone have any other ideas? I'd hate to have to run netscape
  37. etc. w/ 4MB for shapeshifter...
